TORONTO -- A prestigious private school where a student was allegedly sexually assaulted did not report the incident to the Toronto police, a spokeswoman for the force said Thursday, adding that a criminal investigation was launched only after officers were contacted by the media. Police did not release any details about the incident, which allegedly took place at St. Michael's College School, an all-boys Catholic institution that teaches grades 7 through 12. Only at Catholic institutions will you see the first reaction would be to not immediately report this to the police, instead just try and quietly sort it out internally. Still its a Catholic thing to rape children so I suppose its just normal for them. |

First of sll , what you need to remember is, Rape, is the hardest crime to prove in any court of law. When it comes to religion and preying on the weak, it is not uncommon.

not sure whats good about a rapist having the right to question their victim, in fact I can;t thing anything less good tbh in these cases.

Not sure what that has to do with re-victimizing and re-traumatizing a rape victim. In civilized society we have a process that ensures inocent till proven guilty and at the same time protects victims from perps.
Though as you've shown in the past you can't actually grasp the concept of consent I suppose its always a shock to you when women say no and mean it.

From what I understand from the OP, it is an all boys private Catholic school, involving boys from the football team sexually assaulting another student, which was reported to be filmed and told by police to remove it for the sake of the victim,no mention that the vid has been removed or not, so possibly no visual proof has been obtained by the police and if there has been an arrest, so nothing happening so far.

What it is about Catholics is they have this warped idea that their holy men must be celibate for life.
And that being the case, why aren't they at the very least disrobed (so to speak) when they break their celibacy with children, the disgusting freaks.

The weird thing is that the celibacy thing isn't doctrinal, it's corporate. Priests were, for a long time, permitted to marry and, in some places, still are.

it was brought in (i read somewhere or other) ages ago to keep church assets withing the church, something to with property laws ways back or something.
anyway its fecking stupid in this day and age and obviously given how many rapists and pedophiles lurk in the Catholic church at all levels, it needs to end.
