Yes, I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. Neither are deserving of the Geneva Comvention protocols, but would it really be such a bad thing of Israel pretended that decency should be extended to their women, kids and non-combatants?

My guess is that they won't, because they can do so much more with air power and Elint, but also because it didn't do so well last time. As usual,you wonder where any of this gets us.

hard to say, depends how many civies they slaughter doing it, and if its even possible for them to wipe them out, which is very doubtful given Hamas is still alive and well.

Also depends what you mean by "Lebanon" given that it's massively diverse.

I think very few people would be upset of Hezbollah f**k*d off out of Lebanon, but Israel's traditional methods haven't achieved that elsewhere before and have managed to kill lots of non-combatants.

plus Hezbollah have been gearing up for this for ages and are far better armed than Hamas is, I suspect ever since they defeated Israel last time they invaded Lebanon they've been planning how to deal with another bust up.
