"A white comedian has been taken off the bill at a Montreal club because he has Dreadlocks, a hairstyle associated with Black culture.
The Coop les Recoltes excluded Zach Poitras, saying it wanted to be "a safe space, free from any link to oppression," and
described cultural appropriation as a form of violence." But blacks can have straight hair and thats not racist or cultural appropriation. Pi** on them and their safe spaces. |

Anyway it would be surprising if the people behind this decision were actually black. I would bet it’s uber liberal middle class white people.
My hairdresser does locing and I have seen her dreadlocks on white people. It never seems to bother her.

What are you talking about whether or not China / Chinese people refer to things as cultural appropriation (and there wasn’t much to discern from that photo.)
