It’s fascinating when you read through the articles that there is nothing like a disaster, that the people of Woburn (incidentally, if you’re British you’ll be horrified by the pronunciation) are lovely and helpful, are taking these migrants to hospitals and laundromats and are mostly just a bit frustrated by slow response from state organizations in providing food. It’s very different to the picture painted by the hysterical meta-article that references a different article.
You have to say that Massachusetts- crappy place though it is that I’m happy to have left - is doing the right thing. What would be the alternative to “right to shelter”? Have families living on the street in tents and cardboard boxes. I think all US states should aspire to what MA does.

I see that you and the headline maker missed a rather important noun out of the story. He was given a grant to make math departments more equitable. Now, you might also have an issue with that, but it is not nearly as outrageous as implied by the headline writer who's either a horrible scumbag or complete moron (or, most likely, both).

I see a new theme from the idiot, one where he thinks the money is simply to enrich an individual he's decided he should hate, I expect it's because his party is so riven with corruption greed and grift he assumes ever one else is the same.
