He authorised drone strikes on civilians in Yemen.
He repeatedly backed Netanyahu
He bombed the sh*t out of Libya and Syria, and maintained much of US middle east foreign policy
He bailed out the banks and didn't spend properly on stimulus.
He was hardly the radical trot that the Republicans pretended he was. He was always a centrist.

Second best president of my lifetime. Absolutely brilliant by the standards of US presidents. But the actual left were always upset with him for aligning with the historical US foreign policy mentality and for his lack of ambition on the domestic front. What people like Rick don't understand is that the left only make up 20% of Democratic voters. Almost all Democrats are centrists.
