Hahaha... yeah. Looking in the back of it was more interesting than watching the screen.

WR was last spotted fighting off the crumb snaffeling gulls outside Greggs. She may not have made it.

It was a massacre I tell you, all that squeaking and feathers and the gulls didn't do well either.

Excellent family Christmas here and very lucky with the weather. Pastys and booze on Christmas Eve after a nice walk around Henfield Common. Singing.
Turkey crown and gammon on Christmas Day after a long walk on the beach. Wine, Singing, films.
Boxing Day walking in Hadleigh Hill in the sunshine. Brother and SiL for an excellent Korean lunch made by she-child.
Very grateful for a happy, healthy, laughter-filled few days with Mum and Dad, the kids, brother and SiL.
Liver, belly and vocal chords all in need of rest and recuperation.

Yord indeed hasn't got a Christmas tree !WTF is wrong with you people ? How the hell did the idea of sticking a fecking tree in even the bleakest corner of some room become such a suspectable idea. The only good thing about Christmas is Christmas cake. Not that 5p a slice muck from Greggs or Morrison's but the real f**k off stuff that's been soaked in brandy and rum for several years and is packed with sultanas, nuts, and glassy cheries, then topped off with enough marzipan and icing a well fat pig would choke on it. The type of Xmas cake that temporally stops the heart when you enquire "how much ?" Apart from that Pslams has abatably summed up Xmas very nicely with his tale of scavenging crows. Oh and Xmas time is remarkably good for getting laid hmmmm although not as good as new year Fruitcake is best dipped into a mug of rum, as one would dip a biscotti into a cup pf coffee

Been on the road since a little after 4 this morning. It’s 7:30 in the evening and we think we have another 4 hours left. Traffic has been grim since we got through New York. Still, it’ll be done and dusted for the next three months away from the snow and harsh cold. So worth it as long as neither of us falls asleep at the wheel on our last stints.

Dear Santa,
When I was a child, my Father (although some say he isn't my Father) cheated and didn't love my family. Later my parents divorced. Soon after my Mother, who slept around, died in a car accident. My brother and I had to live in my Grandma's old house. The whole family lived on my Grandma's savings. My uncle is thought to be a paedophile. Grandma has just died. Dad, who talks to plants and is now 73 had to go out to work to support the whole family. And he's cut me off without a penny because I married an actress. Life just isn't fair. Yours, Harry

PS I will probably take up that job as Governor of Bermuda when my wife leaves me and becomes a booze-addled porn actress in Vegas.

On the back from Edinburgh. The traffic and the weather are both grim. Bloody Yorkshire.

A fraction under 19 hours door to door. Google says that if you don’t stop or slow down at all it should be 14.5. Waze goes under 14 hours because it always assumes you’re going as fast as the fastest other Waze user on the same stretch forgetting that turn lanes are often slower than through lanes, for instance, or that normal drivers don’t want to go 25 over the limit and get a ticket.
Even so, 14.5 to 19 hours is a lot of delays. Let’s say you switch drivers every two hours (we usually go a bit longer, but not much on a really long drive or you get too tired for you next pull), and maybe get a snack, take a piss or fill up with fuel each time, taking 10 minutes of average (some are faster, getting food is slower). That adds 90 minutes to the drive. So that’s 16 hours which is actually a reasonable guess for how long it takes. Which means we lost 3 hours in traffic. Grim indeed. At least the weather was nice.

Back to work today, yesterday was weird, last Friday/Saturday there was a massive storm, loads of snow temps down below minus 10, but yesterday it was plus 13 and raining so all the snow melted and there was flooding cos all the storm drains were blocked.

Please be careful on the roads.
Lots of people are drinking excessively and letting their wives drive.

two thirds of the world is covered in seawater. Seawater is salty and not carbonated. Therefore the world is flat.
