Astonishingly, this doesn't appear to be a spoof.

Coming to a country near you. "1. Apologise for your comments greenlighting a genocide and for not backing the ceasefire in Oct/Nov 2023 2. Sanctions on companies operating in occupied territories. Most of those seem reasonable enough. Not sure about 6, but should be comparable with what Christians do. Not sure what 13 means. Not sure what 14 is about. 16 looks weird, what have ethical and Islamic got to do with each other?

It all seems a bit childish and needy.

I'm sure there must be loads of countries where all of those conditions are already satisfied or moot. They should go there.

18 is that it's an offence to tell people they'll go to hell or otherwise be spiritually compromised if they do or don't vote a certain way in elections. Seems reasonable to me although I can see why the Muzzoleft are against it.

Are you happy that religious demands are acceded to by governments? Are you opposed to all demands made by all religious groups, even if they're things like "don't rape children"?

It seems obvious that the left are desperate to give in to these demands. We must combat the 18 demands.

Yes, combat 18. That's the way forward.

I think Starmer should push back at those Tories who want to defect (probably because they know the game's up).
I think a tagline such as "STOP THE SCROTES" sums it up nicely.

More from a Labour Party spokesman now on Natalie Elphicke's defection from the Conservatives.
Pressed on whether all Labour MPs are happy with her joining the party, he says "it's a sign of the progress that we've made".
WTF?
It's a sign of the progress we've made on being more like the Tory Party? Of being the kind of party that grim racist Tory MPs feel like they have a natural home?
WTF?
Is there anyone Starmer wouldn't accept? He'd probably take Rees-Mogg and Farage and Susan Hall tomorrow if they defected and not even vaguely understand that it would be a damning indictment of him

She didn't have the high moral standards required of the Tories so has had to seek asylum in Labour.

Agree.
I think that oft-quoted Groucho Marx witticism, "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them ... well, I have others" may well have been dreamt up for the Elphickes of this world. Serious point though is that allowing the likes of Elphicke inside the Labour Party is somewhat akin to letting a fox into the henhouse; Starmer needs to tread carefully here.
