Yes. I am aware of what that says. As the non victim and non witness - I have asked you who has labelled it “anti-Semitic” to explain how calling the current Israel offensive against Gaza “a genocide” is anti-Semitic? You seem curiously unable to answer.

What's hilarious is to see the extreme far left wailing, "But wah wah, we only meant that white people were to be called racist. Wah! Wah!" Hoist etc. Why are you making up random stuff. How is criticism of Israel’s current behaviour “anti-Semitic”?

Let’s be real - the people who allege that calling the conflict a genocide is “anti-Semitic” genuinely don’t think it is.
It’s why they are never able to even attempt to explain why it’s anti-Semitic. They just use it as a tool to attempt to shut down debate.
When you have Jewish people facing accusations of being anti-Semitic due to opposing Israel’s actions then you can see how nonsensical the argument is.

So I'm not extreme far left after all then. Phew - the penny's finally dropped. Anyone can be (and can be called) racist - white, black, brown, yellow, red, you name it - if the cap fits, anyone. Oh, and btw, this includes some Jewish people. Oops - there I go again, making a statement that practically rhymes with " Arbeit macht frei". I think the rules are, saying that Jewish people can be racist is anti-semitic

You seem curiously unable to answer. <siiiiigggghhhh> "A hate incident is any incident which the victim, or anyone else, thinks is based on someone’s prejudice towards them because of their race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or because they are transgender." 1. "the victim, or anyone else (that's me, I'm "anyone else") 2. "prejudice towards them (the victim- this may be what you're struggling with. I'm not "them", I'm "anyone else") 3. "race 1, religion" (Israel, the world's only Jewish state 2
4. All this is what I think ("thinks is based on etc) 5. See? 6. Like I've said before, it's amusing to see the left's attitude towards bigotry suddenly go from hair trigger "microaggressions" to demanding explanations and context when it's towards Jews. 1. hr.qmul.ac.uk/equality/protected-characteristics/race/definition-of-race--equality-act-2010/2. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_and_democratic_state

So, by that very definition, and using the substitution method ...
1. A hate incident has occurred when a Gazan, or anyone else supporting the Gazans ... 2. ... thinks that Israel's continued attacks on Gaza are based on its prejudice towards Gazans because of their race as Palestinian Arabs and/or their religion as predominantly Muslims.
Good. I'm glad you helped us sort that out. Ta.
It's hate, and it's a crime and, when the history books are written, don't be surprised if there are war crimes to be answered for here too.

I'm not sure they're wrong. The appalling racist right-wing scumbag is a fairly good fit for Starmer's party.

Also, anything which treats Jews as a single bloc who can't function as individuals, such as treating Judaism and Israel as the same (which therefore means considering anti-Israel comments as - by definition - anti-semitic) is itself anti-semitic.

It’s just a very transparent silencing attempt. It’s failing pretty badly too.

I think it's an anti-Semitic hate incident. That's literally all it takes according to the rules that you wailed for decades for. (Hoist etc). Oh and I'm not trying to "silence" anyone. I don't really care if people have racist beliefs although it is a worry in someone as senior a policy-maker as an MP.

Not sure about that. Isn't that just being ignorant?

Starmer stumbles into the mire .... "Martin Abrams, a spokesman for left-wing campaign group Momentum, said Labour's response to Mrs Elphicke's apology showed clear "double standards". "A hard-right Tory MP says sorry months after offensive comments and faces no repercussions," he said. "Meanwhile, Britain's first black woman MP says sorry and is suspended for a year and counting. The Labour Leadership's commitment to equalities lies in tatters. All that matters for Starmer is how right-wing you are." Diane Abbott, who remains suspended from the party in Parliament while it investigates alleged antisemitic remarks, was not available for comment." www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68984774I think we're going to see a lot of this as he's flushed into the open.

Yeah, the whole "we can't have people like Abbott and Corbyn in the party" line looks particularly feeble when embracing rape apologist racist scum Tories.

He probably assumed (correctly) that a lot of people have Diane Abbott Derangement Syndrome but comparatively fewer have Natalie Elphicke Derangement Syndrome and so he could get away with having her in the party in a way he could not with Diane Abbott.

He's a complete and utter thingy. He's got so hung up on the idea of being "appealing to Tories" that he's adopting the very worst Tories. Daft cunt. He'll win the next election, but I can't work out why. There'll be no meaningful changes, and no legacy and he'll be a Tessa May style irrelevance in a decade.
