I know it's not funny but...
"Isabel says she recognised the condom packet. It had the DJ's face on one side - part of a campaign Westwood did with Durex."

It does seem quite obvious now that DJing as a profession was attractive because it provided access to sexual encounters with impressionable and exploitable young people.
The arrogance (and the gullibility) is amazing. One of those girls' mothers phoned him up before a visit to warn him off and he still diddled her.

Standard DJ stuff. They deal as well, an added incentive to starry eyed young things. I've known a few drug dealers, mainly due to my tenuous links with the meejah and all of them were constantly feted by birds.

DJ's, pop and rock stars, and so on, have always attracted some very young girls who are star struck and easily exploited. Some of the stories you hear about the goings on in the 60's and 70's its a constant wonder so few have come forward.

I see that Timm bhas stepped down from his Sunday evening slot (Kaleesha, 14) on CapitalPlus (or summat). He must be shattered.
Given that he is being targeted by a BBC documentary, I found this slightly odd: Mr Davie said he had found no evidence of complaints made to the corporation about the DJ while he was at the BBC."

Hahahaha, what a cunt.
"In 2000, at the age of 43, Westwood insisted to a Guardian journalist that he was aged 27.[2]"

Yeah, no doubt Esther Rantzen will be along to tell us how she knew all about it but felt she couldn't say anything.

It sounds like the victim of the uninvited muffing continued to allow Tim occasional dining at the Y in the following years.

So we can safely say then that rap is a danger to women and should, apart from some examples from the 80s and 90s (e.g. Arrested Development, De La Soul), be banned for the sake of women's safety.

Tim Westwood. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-61188603"Bishop's son and hip-hop titan" as he is described by the Guardian. I would have put money on him being a nonce. Rumours about Tim being a creepy old man using his university DJ gigs to prey on young women have been about for years. Surprised it’s taken so long for this to happen.

DJ Tim Westwood. The BBC are now clutching their pearls in horror that one of theirs should have committed sexual misconduct. A couple of thoughts: the allegations span a quarter of a century, 1992 to 2017. Much of his misbehaviour was open and there for all to see. So for 25 years he abused multiple young girls, openly, and the BBC knew nothing, really? Smacks of Saville, hiding in plain sight.….. Even Jonny Rotten had the Beeb,s number & was punished accordingly…. youtu.be/esKnWAIgpLY

I refuse to believe the BBC did not know about Timmy Saville. It’s been talked about for ages.
Become powerful enough as a man and whatever your field people will happily turn a blind eye to your abuse of women and girls.

You have to wonder about BBC light entertainment and pop music…
Westwood. Savile. DLT. Rolf Harris. Jonathon King. Stuart Hall. It’s beginning to look like it’s not really coincidence.
