"Rapper Slowthai has been criticised for a violent confrontation with an audience member at the NME Awards. The 25-year-old had just picked up the hero of the year award - voted for by the public - when he was heckled by a member of the crowd. Slowthai had made sexual comments towards Katherine Ryan, and was accused of making her uncomfortable." www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-51485561

Oh, and smoking a joint (I assume) in a confined public space? Against the law innit? One rule for him?
I do hope he's got nothing to say about Grenfell Towers.

Yep, he's sexually harassed a bird and been given a massive bye. It's puzzling for sure. Most puzzling...

Also, South Central Northampton- hahahaha!
"Slowthai frequently skipped school during his years at Northampton Academy, often spending time at a nearby underground “recording studio” at his friend's house, only stopping when his mother was forced to attend a compulsory court hearing."
Gangsta.

They seem a bit confused because a woman isn't grabbing the victim stick.

They seem a bit confused because a woman isn't grabbing the victim stick. Speaking out against harassment is “grabbing the victim stick”. Interesting. I mean this is a fair point: “ The suggestion is that because she was able to deflect Slowthai’s unwelcome advances, the advances weren’t a problem. But what if it had happened to someone less confident? To someone with a history of abuse or trauma?”

It's become the modern thing for certain people: They believe that if the victim resisted the crime then there wasn't a crime at all. Attempted murder, attempted robbery, attempted rape, attempted bribe of a foreign country: nothing to see here, the criminal is innocent.

Could go the Chinese way: plead guilty and receive leniency, plead not guilty and get executed.

Anyway, clearly his fantasy rapper lifestyle encouraged him to sexually harass this unfunny feminist "comedienne".

All learned from reading the Spellbinder in the comic Lion (I think) as a kid. He was an Elizabethan alchemist who'd been under a spell and woken up in modern times by one of his descendants.

I often wondered who read Lion. Now I know.
Was it a bit Woodland People?

Being banned by my father from reading the Beano and Dandy, Topper, and Beezer, I was allowed to read the Eagle (because it had the life story of Churchill in it) which later joined up with the Lion. The worst comic was the Hotspur, all about football.

I often wondered who read Lion. Now I know. Was it a bit Woodland People? I can't really remember. There was a lot of merging of comics in those days and I get mixed up about what was what. I'd also read the Eagle, the Valiant and of course, Oor Wullie and the Broons.
