Mrs. B was a fan of The Broons (write your own gag.) She still gets given the annual occasionally, as a joke present. She doesn't read them and they join the others in the loft.
Battle Action was the favourite in my day. VC Heroes, Rat Pack etc. Stirring stuff.

They seem a bit confused because a woman isn't grabbing the victim stick. Speaking out against harassment is “grabbing the victim stick”. Interesting. I mean this is a fair point: “ The suggestion is that because she was able to deflect Slowthai’s unwelcome advances, the advances weren’t a problem. But what if it had happened to someone less confident? To someone with a history of abuse or trauma?” You have a peculiar ability to argue a point no-one has made. Is it some sort of superpower? |

I missed the first posting, some amusing things here.
"Thank you for the attention," she said, adding, "You are younger than my babysitter", as he left the stage.
"NME, thank you," Slowthai said, before pointing down at someone in the audience, saying "thank you for ruining my speech" and dropping his mic from the stage. Someone then used the mic that Slowthai had dropped to call him a "wasteman", before the microphone and a drink were thrown at him.
Isn't it almost obligatory as a rapper to act like a douche?

(And further evidence why the “stranger danger” approach of holding women to account for assaults against them, by examining what they should have done to avoid assault, ignores that the vast majority of women are assaulted / killed by men known to them. I believe the opposite is true for men who are killed.) |
