Stupid mistake to make. That crowd has a very different ethnic make up to the Queen's crowds. Racist. You're saying that facts are racist?

Racist.
Obsessing over the ethnic makeup of a crowd is racist. And weird.

I've just checked out wiki on black people and wiki on white people and all I can glean from it is that almost anyone can be called anything dependent on what one feels like at the time. So I think I'll be black today. Fancy a day off then?

Usual stuff, really. Violent criminal, behaving criminally and with violence, gets slotted by the cops after being given plenty of opportunity to wind his neck in.
"On 5 September 2022, Chris Kaba, a 24-year-old member and rapper of 67 who was known by his stage-name Mad Itch or Madix, was fatally shot by police in Streatham Hill. Kaba, who had just been released from prison for possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, was driving an Audi Q8 when he led armed officers in a high-speed chase.[34][35] Police vehicles had boxed the car in, but Kaba ignored repeated orders to exit the vehicle, and was trying to ram the Audi through the roadblock when, according to the IOPC, police fired a single round, striking him.[35] He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries just after 12:00 am the following day.[36] According to the IOPC, the Audi was linked to a "firearms incident" a few days before through automatic number-plate recognition, and "no non-police firearms were found" either in the car or at the scene. Kaba's family called for a homicide investigation into his death and for information about whether any weapons were found."

He certainly sounds like a 24 year old member, but if he’s 24 years old, how is he a rapper of 67.

I think that’s fair. Despite the occasional unjustified outrage killings like this 67 year old member the cops shot the other day, I always thought UK lefties trying to equate UK police misconduct with US’s far, far worse and far more structurally unfixable police violence to be a bit pathetic and needy.

I have never heard of any UK lefties doing this. Is that actually a thing? I have heard them say that people also die in police custody / at the hands of the police in the UK but not claim that it’s on the same level as the US police death squads. I mean you can acknowledge that police murder rates vary wildly from country to country whilst also acknowledging that as a collective police are generally trash.

On balance, they're great and do a good job of keeping us safe from violent criminals. I think they should have more powers, particularly around stop and search.

I think that I actually know four policers on a personal basis. They are all honest, good-natured and decent people.
I have had cause to have words with one or two in the past, when their conduct has been disappointing, but sometimes they get their pitch wrong. Happens to us all.
