Only if releasing the tape would have changed the behaviour of the administration. Nobody thinks it would have. It also doesn't tell us anything we didn't instinctively already know - we all knew that Trump was puffing hot air about how the pandemic would be over.
Arguably the tape actually shows Trump in a good light. It shows that Trump actually understood the problem and decided on a (really stupid) strategy. Most of us just assumed Trump wasn't clever enough to have even grasped that much, so after hearing about it Trump looks less hapless and helpless than we originally thought.

Anyway let this sink in. Trump was asked yesterday if he thought his rally in Nevada where no masks were used and no social distancing was enforced meaning the crowd was tightly packed was safe, his response "IM on stage, IM very far away"

When Pelosi becomes President under the line of succession when Trump and Pence end their term but the result of the 2020 election hasn't been certified because Trump is trying to fight the result because he wants to keep Presidential immunity from his crimes, the right are going to have such a spectacularly funny melt down.

The goal of mail-in voting is to make sure the franchise is accessible. There's a reason Trump has used mail-in voting every time he's voted recently. There's a reason that the Republican party has focused hard on mail-in voting in Florida for years.
In California, the mail-in ballot is fantastic, because the ballot itself is so long. It gives you a chance to look at each question or candidate one-by-one and make a more rational decision. The good news is that there's no evidence of any corruption in mail-in ballots; it just increases turnout.
As for states that HRC won in 2016, the only ones Trump could conceivably win are Minnesota, Nevada and New Hampshire, but I think that's very, very unlikely right now. Biden has a good chance of flipping Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, and has OK chances in Florida and North Carolina, NE-2 and ME-2, and outside chances in Ohio, Iowa, Texas and Georgia.
