I'm all for taking away half of San Diego police's helicopters and guns and tanks, and spending that money on training people to deal with the usual dreary mental health issues and domestic squabbles that are generally what the police deal with. Brilliant idea, lets replace the police with social workers! where you live that is. I mean they are going to save millions every year selling the handful of ex military cast offs they keep in a garage and the Helicopters have no place chasing criminals or such like so that will definitely improve law and order, and taking the guns away is genius, no criminals have guns so the police don't need them obviously, I mean no coppers get murdered every year do they, I can just see the que for the vacancies now! SO yeah lets defund the police in the democratic districts, do it! And then you can live in the cesspit you created! |

Weird isn't that in the UK, just a few months ago, the extreme left were shrieking about police cuts and wanted greater numbers of police (previous to that they hated the police). It's almost as if they're only interested in whining and shrieking and constant sobbing like tired, tantrumy toddlers.

I was reading an post elsewhere about the numbers of US schools with police officers but no counsellors or social workers. I imagine any school that would require police officers absolutely should have counsellors and social workers. |

How patronising. That somebody has a view you disagree with means they don’t believe it? You don’t think it’s possible for an individual to think that their particular police department does not need tanks? I have no idea if Sydney police forces have armoured tanks, but if they were spending a lot on them each year I would question why. Why you would not believe anybody would question that is strange. Particularly given you live in the U.K. where evidently a lot of people thought police forces had too much spending and so cuts were implemented accordingly. Oh and cool homophobia too. |
