Playbox, Titch and Quackers, Vision On, Take Hart, Hartbeat and Smart Hart... www.tonyhart.co.uk/vision_on.htmWithout a doubt, the late Tony Hart influenced several generations of children around the world into becoming artists. In those early days of television he did it using cornflakes packaging, and other household materials readily available to even the poorest child. Tony made it look so easy that it seemed like – hey, anyone can be an artist, and art became interesting, and a fun thing to do. www.tonyhart.co.uk/default.aspAnother great one gone. Got that end of an era feeling. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7836112.stm

Another good man lost. He had such talent, and he could put over ideas so well.

A sad loss. So many good ones going. It certainly does seem like the end of an era.

Great man, taught masses of kids the basics of art, and was well loved. RIP Tony, you won't be forgotten by a few generations.

Mind you, I used to watch his programs all the time as a kid and grew to become quite a good artist... I got 3 day community service for that one. Never did make 'the gallery' [edited to remove rude picture - please dont post anything that you would not want your children to see]
