What a moron. "A police sergeant given a role to champion ethics wolf-whistled at women while on duty, a panel concluded. James Endean worked for Thames Valley Police for 22 years and as a sergeant from 2009, before he was sacked without notice last month. The panel found Mr Endean, who was previously based in Reading, Berkshire, repeatedly bullied colleagues and made comments about his penis and sexual abilities. It said this conduct continued even after a reflective practice meeting, and that it was “intentional, deliberate and targeted”. Mr Endean was made an ethics champion in January 2022, received further training, and last year was appointed a White Ribbon, external champion, to act as an “ambassador” for women and girls." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cv2g1xkdygjoAlso, he can't spell his own rank on LinkedIn.

"champion"
That's a useless title if ever there was one.

Chumpion, more like. Still, it just goes to show the contempt that these campaigns are held in.

I love that they made a man a “champion” for women and girls. That’s always going to be a good look.

It’s so remedial. I wonder what men think is the likely response from being wolf-whistled at.

Gross.
Also interesting how he was “moved” after the allegations instead of being investigated and fired.
“The panel found Mr Endean, who was previously based in Reading, Berkshire, repeatedly bullied colleagues and made comments about his penis and sexual abilities. It said this conduct continued even after a reflective practice meeting, and that it was “intentional, deliberate and targeted”. Mr Endean was made an ethics champion in January 2022, received further training, and last year was appointed a White Ribbon, external champion, to act as an “ambassador” for women and girls. The panel was told by his colleagues that he would “rate” women’s attractiveness while on patrols and told them that some were “asking for it”. Colleagues reported how he had told them women would enjoy sex with him and that his fingers “should be on Britain’s Got Talent”. After a catalogue of allegations were made against him in March 2023, he was moved from Reading to Bracknell and Wokingham, where he worked in a supervisory role.”

Sounds like the usual canteen culture in the police. A bubbling swamp of scumbags.

"A paedophile who raped a girl and threw her brother off a 100ft cliff to "silence him" has been jailed for life. Anthony Stocks tried to kill the primary school-aged boy at Ovingdean, near Brighton, in September 2022 after fearing he would be exposed as a child abuser. But the boy survived and Stocks claimed he fell from the cliff after he took him there to see the view because it featured in the film Quadrophenia. A jury at Oxford Crown Court found him guilty of attempted murder and sexual offences and he was told he would have to serve a minimum of 20 years." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c903lddlpe3o20 years? How on earth can we risk a nonce likely this being at liberty ever again? Just execute him.

Other thoughts:
1) I hope the facial marks are because he was beaten up in jail. 2) That is an incredibly hard looking 54. I genuinely thought he was pushing 70.

“ Judge Daly told Stocks he remained a "significant risk" to girls and if given the chance would go on commit more sexual assaults and rapes.”
So then set a minimum term to keep him locked up.
Also the article is curious in not mentioning the parents. I wonder if they were in the care system.

I hope Dibble stamped on his head, but only once his balls had been kicked to a mush.

This isn't the main part of the story, but what kind of alibi involves a primary school kid watching Quadrophenia in the 2020s?
