The handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan has exposed Biden's incapacity. The painful truth is now undeniable. He must go — even if that means Kamala Harris, who has been similarly wrong about Afghanistan and much else besides, taking over.
i believe she's up to her ears in this debacle. she bragged about being the last person to leave the room when everyone was supposedly advising biden. and she bragged about how proud of the "plan" she was.

this goes way beyond afghanistan. ukraine. taiwan. israel. if the usa is willing to abandon thousands of americans to the talibans mercies, nobody can put any faith in our support.

you know whats especially amusing about the biden sychophants in here? they accuse the man who had baghdadi, solamani killed, and obliterated isis of surrendering to the taliban while praising the guy who opposed killing bin laden.

anyone remember Baghdad Bob, and how detached from reality his daily statements were? now we have baghdad bob biden. allies criticizing him morphs into "i have heard nothing but support from our allies." orwell on steroids. say the exact opposite of what is actually happening in the real world.

it took 15 long years for the usa to regain the respect it lost in the vietnam embassy fiasco. this is far worse. bugout biden has done more damage to the usa in under a year than our enemies could dream of.

FA's spot off. He's painted himself into a corner in his uncritical support for Biden and now, although he realises he's wrong, he can't back down from his corner.

I see you’re repeating the mistake of thinking the withdrawal was the problem and not the previous couple of decades of pointless and spectacularly wasteful war that resulted in countless deaths. You seem to think those are just fine but that ending the war is what damages the US’s reputation abroad.

Short memories. Mob volatility. It's those who were baying for war trying to substantiate their irrational judgement of the time. Cheap stuff. Bush and Blair made a 20 year fuckup. I agree Biden's misjudged how to handle Trump's almighty fuckup, but it's small beer compared to what went before. Amusing to listen to the peanut gallery squealing though.

Yeah. Mostly when reading on this you have to remember that most journalists, and almost every single “ex-ambassador”, “ex-general”, “ex-military advisor”, etc… etc… is working hard to make sure that nobody thinks about those preceding 20 years of bad decisions, bad decisions that were made by and generally supported by both Democrats and Republicans in the US, and generally supported by both Labour and Conservatives in the UK.

Biden's buyout bugout bye-bye had been an epoch-defining clusterfuck by and of itself. Let's not let that be confused.
