I had to have a Covid swab at the hospital on Friday before going in for the Op on Monday.
I've just had a phone call - I've got Covid!!! and of course everything has been cancelled.
It's because of Covid that I've had to wait such a long time for the OP. I really need it.
Anyway I would like to thank everyone for your kind posts. They were unexpected and really nice.

Yeah - thanks - I've been waring a mask everywhere for the last week especially so as to not catch it. So I don't think I've infected too many people!
But yeah apart from feeling like I've got a cold no problems so far.

Ffs WKC it took me ages to come up with a good luck message which seemed reasonable without being overduly caring and full of concern about someone I don't know from Adam and you go and get covid. Spare a thought for others if you don't mind.

That hoodie/balaclava badboy look is very unfortunate as it literally makes the wearer look like they're up to no good. Literally a little hood.
I saw a couple of black lads hearing balaclavas in Brighton a couple of weeks ago: they were riding electric scooters on the pavement in the city centre on a busy Saturday. Do yourselves a favour, lads.

Well I've been a good boy and registered all the details of my positive test with the NHS Covid-19 website.
The App on my phone says I can rejoin polite society on Wednesday 6th. April at 23:59 - which doesn't seem that long.
