Well kind of. The prosecution has to show that you had no reasonable grounds to believe she was over the age of consent. You might actually believe she was 16 years and one day when she was really 15 years and 364 days.

16 is the age of consent but I think both parties have to be in that ballpark. Probably fair enough. Blokes in their late teens or twenties knobbing 16 year olds is just creepy.
