I had to look at it twice when I wrote it but I do mean over. He might have reasonable grounds to believe she was over the age of consent e.g. in a pub, convincing fake ID, said she was, mate said she was. The prosecution would then need to show that his grounds weren't reasonable.

prince A clearly is a sh*t of the first water but I slightly agree with the bloke.
As far as i can see he's been accused of "committing sexual assault and battery". There's no suggestion she was underage. So, even if he did shag her it would need to be shown she was coerced or trafficked and he was aware of it. Baring in mind she met him in Tramps and danced with him that might be tricky to prove.

I sort of agree with UJ's link, but all someone as rich and privileged as Andrew Windsor has to do is deny everything and eventually it'll go away, just like Johnson and the valid accusations. Once again it underlines the basic fault in the legal system of any country* that the richest can override the law.

* An impersonal observation here: France does seem more inclined to pursue anyone through the law despite their wealth and background.
