He's of Pakistani heritage. So? What does who some Brits of Pakistani descent in Bradford marry have to do with him? What, aside from racism, is a logical reason to link him to an issue you have no idea is relevant to him?

"reach for racism" Anyway, it's a queer thing that the left do whenever there's a problem within "certain communities". They try to pretend it doesn't exist (while simultaneously blaming it on racism), then pretend it doesn't matter when faced with massive evidence of its existence. It's just another example of the left's racism. Sheesh - who's hysterical now? I suspect that you're the kind of chap who farts volubly in a crowded lift and then casts around for someone else to blame. It's demonstrably and similarly true on this thread, on the Benefits of Brexit thread, and on the Tory Scum thread. However, and for balance, other threads are available on which you can exercise your bile and spleen.

Given the heritage of the leaders in Westminster and Holyrood, we appear to have a the poetic irony of Indian and a Pakistani arguing over the partition of Britain

So you're saying we're being colonised by conquering, imperialist brown people?

Silly girl. The suggestion was that the Scottish politician of Pakistani heritage looked a bit inbred. The link to a study on consanguinous marriages in Bradford's Pakistani-heritage population is entirely valid.
You might not like it, but you don't get science. Or facts. Or honesty.
It's doubly hilarious that you suggest that rational far centre centrist have a problem with brown people in positions of power when we stand squarly behind the hugely brown and talented cabinet of the Comservative and Inclusive Party.

Amusingly, the First Minister only got involved with the SNP due to his Islamic sympathies.

This is just a lot of words when you could have said “we were being racist”. Having shields in Westminster (something you had zero control over) makes you no less racist.

Pakistani culture. Are you actually as dumb as you're pretending to be here? What “Pakistani culture”? He’s a Scot whose parents happen to be from Pakistan. To repeat what do the marriage choices of some Brits in Bradford have to do with him. So they happen to be of Pakistani descent. So? And? How is it relevant to him?

King Charles and Prince William look far more consanguineous than Yusuf Islam appears to. So, let’s be honest, do Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg and Michael Gove.

"What “Pakistani culture”?"
Well, in this case, consanguineous marriages.

Leaving aside that a father and son are apt to be somewhat consanguinous, you may have a point, and one which might be explored by reference to the royal families lf several other countries. More racist science. Boris's gene pool is famously diverse, as is that of his kids. JRM's DNA is diverse both in origin and period. Of course, a double-barrelled name should logically suggest some degree of genetic mixing. His mother was Irish-American.

Anyway, shagging a cousin. Ew. Although I did once play "I'll show you mine etc..." with one of my cousins aged 7 or 8. She's a year older.
