You changed your mind within two posts. Well done. Typical Brexiter. Don't know what you want and don't know how to get it.

All this "I've always been in favour of re-joining ..." or "The relationship should be and always should have been an EU with us in charge ..." is the usual right-wing bollocks that fools no-one but themselves.
Name one large institution that doesn't need constant refinement. Why? Because the EU was, is and probably always will be in need of such reform as the number of countries in it grows. As we've done to death on these boards, the brave thing back in 2016 would have been to have stayed in the EU and fought for such reforms from a UK perspective rather than flouncing off the playground like the spoilt kid and his punctured ball. Anything else is a level of wanton cowardice that even Private Pike would find unacceptable.
As someone once said, “The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves”.

It's failing. Falling apart. Fracturing. The only hope for the EU lies in Eastern Europe.

Here you go.
"Latin abbreviation for quod erat demonstrandum: "Which was to be demonstrated." Q.E.D. may appear at the conclusion of a text to signify that the author's overall argument has just been proven."
Please feel free to argue with them.

"Traditionally, the abbreviation is placed at the end of mathematical proofs and philosophical arguments in print publications, to indicate that the proof or the argument is complete."

Btw, please provide a link (or links) to where you've "... always been in favour of re-joining the EU ...".
It seems rather strange that not many of us here seem to recall this, but there ya go.
So, er, yes ... "Link?"

It'll be nice for us all to be back in the Common Market. I've always said so. Plenty more, if you want to search.

What about the years 2016 to 2022? Where's this "always"? "If you want to search", btw, is priceless; a Tory suggesting that other people do all the hard work? Whodathunkit, eh?
