The Boris's Gold Standard (BGS) trade deal in question.

The deal wIth the EU was done and dusted to the point of being “oven ready”, which the likes of you spouted then as yet another victory. Yet look where we are: Johnson and Truss about to declare UDI when it comes to a deal they probably didn’t even read, let alone understand. Do you not think the Fat Controller will hold the deal with Oz in the same contempt when he realises that what the UK farmers were telling him back then was true?

Johnson is apt to throw his toys out the pram when he realises that the much-vaunted Oz deal is probably not going to deliver what he and Truss say. The NFU was (and remains) nervous about this deal, saying that there appears to be little in it for British farmers ...

When this reality dawns on Johnson and his acolytes, then chances are he'll ditch this deal too. Why? Because he has form in doing so, sulking about a deal he either couldn't be bothered to read, or didn't have the nous to digest and understand (maybe both).
