The 42-year-old, who had been unable to wash her family-of-six's clothes since December, said she had had enough.

After police were called, the situation was resolved amicably, and Currys have since supplied Mrs Fox with a new washing machine.

She bought the washing machine 10 months ago, and said she had requested an engineer five times.

Currys is an utter cr*p retailer.

They care only about their commission. All of their service work is subcontracted out to poorly paid, mostly unqualified people who have to do so many repairs in a single day their generally get burned out in a few years.

Lesson. Never buy from Currys. Go to a proper store.

I tried to buy a Sat Nav from Currys, They said they had them in stock, but couldn't find them. FFS (True story)

There is always exceptions but I can only relate to a recent experience of my wife buying a microwave about 5 months ago which stopped working just after the New Year and when we took it back the service could not have been better, no probs at all, "pick another one or you can have your money back."

Maybe we were lucky or caught them on a good day!

The title of the thread wouldn't be "Currys is crap", it would be "Curry makes you Crap", which is true. ;D.
