I see The Ginger Beardo's weighty tome is titled "Spare".
Ideally, I'd like to see it "Remaindered" by the book trade, not that that's likely to happen mind.

Cast into the dustbin of history, you say? You're missing a "D", old boy, which is ironic given it was your usual mark for each of the Three R's. Perhaps your C+ in Crochet & Needlework was your saving grace and an obvious gift to society.

Also, he gets to shag Kate Middleton. Is he? I thought he was off shagging somebody else now the requisite number of kiddies have arrived. That's the rumour. Just like his dad.

The one major, huge, fat, elephant in this room is the apparently non-existent reaction of the royal family.
Here we have the richest, most powerful family in the country, a family with ultra-loyal armed forces, the head of the church, with extremely powerful and loyal friends in all places...
Yet news outlets run by extremely powerful and loyal friends get to publish scurrilous rubbish about two members of their family?
One has to assume the royal family is hand-in-hand with this attack on them, which demands the question - why?

Nah, they don't need to do anything. The Mardles are hoisting themselves with their own petards quite nicely. They're scoring own goal after own goal.

They have to learn that lesson again once every generation. Di, back then and more recently Handsy Andy.

Never complain, never explain. They have to learn that lesson again once every generation. Di, back then and more recently Handsy Andy. That seems to have been fully unlearned by Harry recently. I think the last few years of the occasional leak or brief internview that created tantrums in the mid-market UK media was a very effective way of making the public warm to an entitled royal who married an actress having previously wandered around in Nazi gear and celebrated shooting foreigners from a helicopter. Someone who should have been considered as unlovable as Handsy became almost softened. But the media blitz, TV show and book where everything now gets stated explicitly, even if it does also harm the palace, is really not a good look for the boy. He has burned most of the goodwill he earned by not being part of the rotten self-sustaining royal felching industry.

I'm sure they'll buy him out at some point, Governor of Bermuda or something, minor title, quietly forgotten.
Shame the real lessen won't be learned, that it's long past time the lot of em were shuffled off and quietly forgotten.
