Complex needs? Can't they be less vague? I assume they mean visibly disabled.

It's more straightforward and self-explanatory.

It's inclusive, gender neutral, and carries no post-colonial baggage. You can apply it to all leftists.

I miss window-lickers. Still, we'll be seeing plenty of Labour's front bench soon enough.

When did Christians become so whiney, rather than moaning about Christ being taken out of Easter by renaming a chocolate egg, perhaps look at why modern Christianity appears so at odd with JC and his reported teachings, love they neighbor help the poor and turn the other cheek if they stop calling eggs after your reporposed pagan festival

I see my pension fund has a 20% stake in Thames Water.

That's the only reason they haven't been liquidated earlier.
This is utterly shocking. A total failure of Goverments and government. They were never held to account.

Yup, never should have been privatized, we should hang every minister who drew up the policy and every MP who voted for it.

And especially Labour ones. Hang them twice.

Remind me again who's policy it was and which government was in power and made the decision, against the advice of Her Majesties Loyal Opposition, the privatize the water companies.
Take your time.

That's the only reason they haven't been liquidated earlier. Can you liquidate a water company? <Sorry, rubbish even by my standards>

I choose 2007. "In one year (2007) Thames paid out more than £650 million in dividends, even though its profit was £241 million. Sixteen years later Ofwat finally moved to stop the companies paying “themselves” in this way. Or it thought it had."

I see my pension fund has a 20% stake in Thames Water. I'm sorry to say that you're going to be down 20% at this rate. That being said, there may be a cushion offered, if only so that you have something to bite. I confess that I have no confidence in my understanding of shareholding in a situation like this. I thought that a company that is bankrupt and taken over has zero share value to the old stakeholders. Then again, I also believed that you companies can only pay dividends on an actual profit. They can't have it both ways.

I guess that liabilities aren't taken into account, but surely you can't borrow just to appear to be profitable?
