The BBC and ITV were going to show highlights of this evening's game...but couldn't find any.

Only a Kier Starmer speech is more boring than watching England play.

On the subject of sport….should be really be allowed to compete? www.bbc.com/sport/articles/c511yz5ze18o.amp“A beach volleyball player who was jailed for raping a 12-year-old British girl is set to represent the Netherlands at the Paris Olympics. Steven van de Velde, now 29, was sentenced to four years in prison in 2016 after admitting three counts of rape against a child, which took place in August 2014. Van de Velde, who met his victim on Facebook, travelled from Amsterdam to the UK and raped the girl at an address in Milton Keynes. He was allowed to serve his sentence in the Netherlands but was released after just 12 months.” I do like how he received a measley 4 years for rape (shame on Britain) and then served a ridiculous 1 year (shame on the Netherlands). But but but we need to keep women and girls safe from trans women. Or something.

Also….so much for “rape accusations ruin men’s lives!”

Perhaps going to Milton Keynes was considered time served

Perhaps going to Milton Keynes was considered time served I have never been to MK but I am intrigued. It seems to be somewhere people move to when they want to be close to London but want somewhere safer and less crowded / busy.

I think you might be confusing MK with Hemel Hempstead.
Actually, MK seemed okay to me when I last went. Dull, a bit Sports Direct, but quite spacious.

MK isn't great but it doesn't seem awful either.

Rain has stopped play in Guyana. But there's going to be another inspection in 15 minutes.

England need 172 off 20 overs on a difficult pitch to get into the Final.

Rishi's on a sticky wicket and we need a Skipper's innings to save England.

Well we got through to the semi-finals - but we were well beaten by India.

Arse. England losing is fine and deserved. But India losing and f**k**g up the contrived financial bullshit of the ICC and BCCI is more important

I have never been to MK but I am intrigued. It seems to be somewhere people move to when they want to be close to London but want somewhere safer and less crowded / busy. Cheaper too. Oh MK isn't too bad, it's just very bland. When my ex had the 'need to be close to London' issue, we bought a house in Hertford, which is a much prettier place. Prices were very reasonable back then too. Don't suppose it is any more as that was - 'kin hell - 25 years ago!
