So we're agreed that Van's clueless? Right, what's next? Which is worse: ISIL, Hamas or Greg Wallace?

Yup that's spot on. The left are intensely relaxed about some perviness and it depends on the ethnicity of the victims and sex pests. Brendan "spot on" O'Neil is spot on again.

So what you're saying is that Margaret Thatcher, who ennobled one Jimmy Savile, was on the left? Yep - Margaret "I invited Jimmy over 10 times to New Years' Celebrations at Chequers" Thatcher and who, it later transpired, wasn't his friend at all (yeah, right!). For balance. Rolf Harris achieved his gong on Harold Wilson's watch, but that's perhaps the exception that proves the rule. Even more recent are Stuart Hall (PM David Cameron) or the host of kiddy-fiddlers, rent-boys and other miscreants in the Tory Party of Law & Order.

….: just another page in the extremel left Al Beeb s role of honour when it comes to prioritising stories …. Aah ... so reporting on these awful crimes is worse than the crimes themselves even more so if they're committed by someone on the Right, in which case it's a show-trial, a witch-hunt, an abuse of power, a travesty of justice <insert your favourite cliche here> ... ? There are times when Left and Right should be meaningless; the exercising of justice should be one such.

The bizarro thing from the right is that they'd have a meltdown if the BBC didn't self-flagellate over a BBC presenter being a sex pest and now they're having a meltdown because the BBC is self-flagellating about a BBC presenter being a sex pest. They can't help themselves from going into puce bundles of tantrummy rage over the most trivial things, however those things are reported. They have almost as little personal agency over their wailing hissy fits as BBC presenters seem to have about inappropriate sexual behaviour.

Forgive me butting in here - ref the top of this page.
van is not clueless. She is an important member of this board and should be respected.
I know she can look after herself - but it's ok to say that someone's views are bollocks but don't attack them personally.

Nah. She's utterly clueless. That's not an attack, just a statement of fact. We are a broad church.

If you think that, it's more proof that your views are incorrect bollocks.

TBF, I think WKC is right and we should be more inclusive of people on the spectrum. See it for what it is and find ways to accommodate it. I feel a bit short-changed, mind - I thought the autistic crowd were all supposed to be maths geniuses and/or really facts-focused. I see zero evidence of that from Van. Or Voice, for that matter.

This is topical .... "Gregg Wallace's alleged inappropriate behaviour which sparked his MasterChef exit has been blamed on his secret autism condition by friends of the scandal-hit BBC1 star.
MailOnline can reveal Wallace, 60, has never been 'formally diagnosed', but his close pals believe he displays 'all classic symptoms' including an inability to judge social situations and having a 'lighter filter on the subject of sex'."
I think it's worth reflecting on the serious side of autism. While I'm happy to be an arse about it, I think it's a serious topic with serious implications for the individual and wider society. For the individual because it does explain different or unconventional behaviours which need to be acknowledged and accommodated. For society, because an awful lot of piss-poor parenting, indulgence and irresponsible laziness is being excused in the name of inclusiveness. If you're not aware of that, then you haven't been in a UK school for a long time, or dealt with young people trying to find their way in adult society.
Look, I know these kids ....
