I was chatting to a police trainer the other day and he told me that on Day 1 of his policing "degree" intake, 50% of them had already been back-classed. They are almost all degenerate morons, but they all know that they can't fail the course.
Odd. But that's where we are. Decent, honest people no longer feel that a career in the police is realistic.

Yeah, there was a time when the Met selected solid, athletic six footers from nice families, with impeccable standards of personal honesty and natural decency. Well, that was the objective, anyway. It didn't always work,but it was a reasonable standard to aim for.

Someone I know teaches degree-course coppers. More than half of thisn year's cohort have already had to be back-classed.
They don't give a toss. They know they'll pass.
