Social Networking Sites! Facebook, Twitter, Bebo etc. Do you use them?! If so tell us which one/s you use, why you use them, and what you like or dislike about them!

no interest in facebook or twitter etc don't get it, don't know why you'd want everybody to know your day to day business, can't think of anything worse. I had a 'friend' hmmm no an aquaintance in the real world who was almost to the point of stalking me! she was obviously lonely... wanted to know my every move, it was a total nuisance - apart from the weird factor  If she saw me drive out she'd ring me, & if no answer, she'd ring my daughter to ask her where I was going - serious! so no, I don't like these modern invasions of privacy either. I know the young'uns like them - my daughters do - but not for me |

I don't like them, I do have facebook using an anonymous name but rarely visit the site ( not even saved in the favs)
But then I do Ravelry which is a brilliant community with wonderful resources

I had facebook for ages and only had my bro and a friend on it. I didnt really get what to do with it. Then a girl i know asked if she could add me so i did, then i went on to find some old friends from junior school there so now i use it just to leave simple messages , jokes, ect. Nothin heavy. I dont even do politics there, i dont wanna scare my real friends away lol!
Ive got 13 friends now there hope thats not unlucky :-)
Facebook is ok for a laugh if u keep it simple and nice!

Ive noticed the young ones have loads of friends on it. And us oldies dont have as many.
The young have uni friends .
Any age can use it tho. Some of my friends wont tho. They wont even make a account there.
