🙄 Sorry.
I got absolutely splattered the other night, can't even remember what rabbit hole I was down to end up back here with an odd login. I'm not actually a knob* or mental**.
I was honestly surprised you still existed though. Thought you'd all be waiting for "q-tips" on "jackie chan" by now, or whatever the kids*** are up to.
Anyway, hope everyone's good. Um, the world's all a bit f**k*d up, innit?
Peace x
*any more of a knob **any more mental ***near pensioners, probably

"This week's Paris Airshow saw the launch of the world's first commercial all-electric passenger aircraft - albeit in prototype form. Israeli firm Eviation says the craft - called Alice - will carry nine passengers for up to 650 miles (1,040km) at 10,000ft (3,000m) at 276mph (440km/h). It is expected to enter service in 2022. Alice is an unconventional-looking craft: powered by three rear-facing pusher-propellers, one in the tail and two counter-rotating props at the wingtips to counter the effects of drag. It also has a flat lower fuselage to aid lift." www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-48630656I call bullshit! Yep, still hasn't flown. Planned for next year now. Next year in Jerusalem, eh lads? See also: robbreport.com/motors/aviation/hybrid-electric-airplane-rewrite-aviation-two-years-2919373/ Why does it need canard wings AND a tail boom? Is this just to make it look more futuristic?

I reckon there's every possibility that the new PotUS will get shot within three months of taking office.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a protracted period of violence too.
Sad and worrying, but there it is. Too many loons with guns and a sincerely-held grudge.

Well if any Trump supporter decided to shoot Biden they would end up with Kamala Harris.
Who, as we all know, is a FEMALE !!! and as she was born in Oakland, California, to two immigrant parents - an Indian-born mother and Jamaican-born father - she is a WOMAN OF COLOUR!!!
(I didn't know until I just Googled her that her parents divorced when she was five and she was primarily raised by her Hindu single mother, Shyamala Gopalan Harris, a cancer researcher and civil rights activist.)

The Kamala Harris Presidency is what the loonybins wing of Republicans is most terrified of. They seem genuinely petrified that it would be an extremist communist takeover, apparently completely unaware of Harris's very centrist voting record and positively right-wing behaviour when California AG. I think because she is a woman and non-white they automatically assume that she is basically Leo Trotsky (who was white and male, but that's not how their branez work).
Anyway, I'm inclined to think that Baloo's prediction falls into the "fairly plausible" category. I'm not sure it's likely, but if you were given 5-1 odds you'd probably take them. The reason it might not happen is because I'm not sure many of the crazies have much willpower to do anything, particularly once they realise that several hundred, possibly thousand, have been arrested for the first attempted coup.
(If they manage to kill both Harris and Biden, it's President Pelosi - which probably scares them even more than either a Harris or a Biden presidency(.

I predict our grandchildren are going to show us all how thick we are...write down the sum for a ten year old to work out, 5+7x3=. Now, you would think the answer would be 36, but no, I was shown on a calculator how wrong I was.

Yes 26, but to get 26 in my mind I should have written 5+(7×3)=

It is automatically done that way. You do the multiplication first unless explicitly told otherwise (5+7)*3.

if it doesn't have brackets it's not a proper equation.

Yeah it's just a modern convention WR. You weren't wrong as such, it's just the way it's done these days.
