i had a colleague who waited until just before she got married at 26.....she would ask me about sex and sexual practises (came from a home where it certainly wasn't spoken about) and i was as honest as i could be with her.....it wasn't hang ups as opposed to a different concept of tradition....
sure, sex is fun - i know a couple of single ladies that have their f**k buddies and it works well - not every woman gets emotionally attached to her bed mate, and not every man (?) is looking to screw everyone he can to prove his hotness....however i do believe that sex is more than just a fun thing to do and like everything - in the wrong hands, mouth or any other orifice of choice - too many people do it or don't do it for what i would consider the wrong reason

If you're doing something just because it's a tradition then you're conditioned. I don't think you can have right or wrong reasons for having or not having sex, as long as the reason is your own. "I'm not having sex because I don't want to" is fine in a way that "I'm not having sex because if I do someone else might think something about me that I don't want them to think" is not. |
