How dare a handful of Canadian Jews dare put Canada's name on park built on a Arab village levelled by their brethren in 1968. I am outraged. God damn scum! Using their logic, maybe its time to level Auschwitz and make it a nice Canadian park. yayacanada.blogspot.com/2009/01/wiped-off-map.html

I'll make a point of visiting it, one day, when I travel to Israel, I'll bring a frisbee.

Absolutely Gizzley
...tastless!
Although, I would never level Auschwitz in retaliation of a bunch of halfwitted, ignorant types!

And a picnic basket, it's going to be lovely. Canada Park, making a mental note, must visit Canada Park when in Israel.
A great day out, and a chance to piss off the nutters.

Did you read the comments from The Israeli soldiers and Kibbutz residents, NY.
It is memories of events such as these theat grow the next generation of terrorists.
You hate because of 9/11 and want to see ill to all arabs and Muslims. Innocent as well as guilty. Do you think the feelings of their militants are any different towards those who harmed their people?
For as long as people contiue to be so cavalier with the lives of others then there will be retaliation and hatred. A never ending bitter cycle.

Oh I think NY quite comprehends that it's his choice to live in his little right/wrong world, and that if he were born elsewhere, his little mind would have been formed accordingly.

So, NY is on his lonesome on this one too? He is as far as I'm concerned too, it's so very wrong.

If any of you took the time to check out Grizzly's "source" , it's an anti-Israel, pro-Arab, Jew hater's blog.
Didn't take much to get you all on board the pro-Arab anti-Israel bandwagon. Can anyone say latent anti-smetism 3 times fast?
Sigh. People are so stupid.

AhThe predictable response. If you criticise anything that Israel has done you're an anti semite.
Antisemitism is hatred of Jews, NY. Hating the actions of a government isn't hatred of everyone who belongs to that race.
Crying anti semitism too often when it has no meaning makes it lose any value.
Many Jewish people dislike some of the actions of Israel.
Incidentally... Arabs are semites too.

The original article was in the Toronto Star. I was not aware that your "friends" had pulled this off on the average Canadian NY. Yes the original article was 1991 but Auschwitz was in the 1930's and we are reminded almost daily about the outrageous pain and suffering the Jews felt at that time....kinda like the Palestinians are going through currently.

No matter what source you use, the facts stay. Prior Palestinian use of the landThe land on which Canada Park now stands formerly contained the Palestinian villages of Imwas, Beit Nuba and Yalo, demolished by Israel after the 1967 Six-Day War by order of then commander Yitzhak Rabin due to the corridor's strategic location and control of the route to Jerusalem though the inhabitants had offered no resistance. Israel said the residents aided the Siege of Jerusalem and the Egyptian commandos in their attack on Lod days before[citation needed]. The residents of the three villages were offered compensation[citation needed] but were not allowed to return.[3][4][5][6][7] [8] The former residents of the villages fled to refugee camps in the West Bank and Jordan, where most of them remain today according to the Palestinian Authority.[9] Founding of Canada ParkIn 1973, Bernard Bloomfield of Montreal - then President of the Jewish National Fund of Canada - spearheaded a campaign among the Canadian Jewish community to raise $15 million to establish Canada Park as a picnic area accessible to Israelis from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The Jewish National Fund of Canada remains responsible for the upkeep of the park today through charitable donations en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Park

NY I love the way you lose an arguement by using cruel sarcasm and a barrage of 4 letter words to try to get your way. Sorry NY, But it doesn't bolster your arguments. Your a nice guy most of the time though.
