Like Bradford but worse. This is the New America that people will have to get used to. One that will nationalise the means of production. Will purge the borgeousie and landowning classes. Will have everyone in a turban in weeks, and will start islamic re-education within months. There will be no time for collecting refuse, because between worshipping Allah, worshipping the new Beloved Leader, and trying to hit 5 year plans for production of grain, there's going to be no gaps for anyone to do anything to work on trivialities like appearance.

I expect the rubbish scene is pretty much the same as at any major event, rally etc. Where there are masses of people there will always be masses of waste! There would never be enough waste bins to contain the rubbish from millions of people all in the same vicinity anyway.
