Why did Moses hack all those lines out in stone? He could have memorized them. Kids all over the world have to. Think it may have been a metaphore. Written in stone. Saying that the rules cannot be altered. Sadly, as Jesus pointed out, the followers of Moses didn't waste any time doing just that.

How the hell can a mother not know her child is smoking?? well at 3 anyway (teens a lil harder) A 3yr old shud always be in view of its mother esp in todays society, ok we may let them go off in2 there room alone for a while, but um how did the tot light the ciggy? a lighter or matches arnt easy to light for many adults let alone a kiddie! a drop of a match/lighter when lit cudda killed everyone in the house, how scary is that!!!!!!! Im sorry but a few parenting classes isnt really gonna do much for this mother! and at 3 yes the child shud be given to a family that care for its best interest, there are enuf childless ppl out there that wud bring a child up safely and responsibly. And b4 i get slated, yes as parents we all make mistakes, but hell not to that degree! that is just TOO wrong!

I'm not sure Libby was that harsh Beach, the kids was obviously an acomplished smoker and was doing quite openly in front of his mum, sound like she didnt realy care, luckily for the kid the social worker was there, and you've gotta aske why was the social worker involved, there is proberbly more to tnis than just one incident, she's under suspoician as a crappy parent as it is by the looks of things. Yuo've gotta worry about what future this kids gonna have with a muim like that Thank voice, you got my point there. I meant that the child seemed an accomplished smoker. I can't believe any parent would condone a 3yr old smoking, surely we want the best for our children especially at such a young age? Having said that i suppose some good to come out of this story is that the mother has tried to improve her parenting skills.

To be an accomplished smoker at THREE. WTF is the mother doing. Obviously Trisha, Jeremy Kyle and the rest of day time TV are an important part of a chavs life. But to pay so little attention to your child, surely removal under child neglect / endangerment could be easily argued.
I was put of smoking cigarettes for life by my dad when I was about 11. He caught me smoking. Took me into the back garden and made me smoke an entire packet. About half way through, I felt ill. Threw up my lungs, everything I had ever eaten and I would swear my toenails. Still had to finish the rest of the packet. Never touched one since.
