The unnamed 48-year-old man was left hanging upside down from a ski lift with his trousers and underpants around his knees after he boarded a high speed lift without ensuring his seat was in the correct lowered position. This caused him to fall through the resulting gap. He was prevented from plummeting to the ground by his right ski, which became jammed in the ascending lift. Although his boot remained securely in its binding, his trousers were also caught in the lift as he fell - leaving him fully exposed to the wintery elements. news.uk.msn.com/odd-news/article.aspx?cp-documentid=12584773

Hi Libby It's a bit chilly at the moment for sunbathing - but summer's coming and according to the long range forecast it's gonna be a belter. (Fingers crossed)

That would be great after the big freeze of this Winter, don't care how hot it gets, it has to be better than being freezing cold all the time! Let's hope the weather experts are right this time eh lol!

There are meteorological factors that suggest a decent summer is on the cards. We rely on the Gulf Stream to send warm ocean currents our way every year. Since 2006 it's been somewhat lacklustre; but during the last couple of months it's been revving up for action. Then there's La Nina, the name given to an atypical cooling of the tropical warm waters in the Pacific. Usually this process happens once every few years; recently, you won't be surprised to hear, it's hung around, stubbornly sending bad weather our way. By spring, however, it should have disappeared. Something to look forward to amidst the freezing cold days and even colder nights! A lovely hot summer would be just what the doctor ordered! Can't wait!
