didnt realise he'd only had it for two days.
I am amazed any insurance company would insure a 22-yr old in a Ferrari tbh. Maybe he only had 3rd party

Seems to me he would be better off to employ a chauffer, if only to protect other road users. it is obvious he cannot drive very well.

I suppose insurance companies are happy to insure highly paid young footballers as they know they can afford the extortionate premiums! lol! He wouldn't even notice the rise in his premiums after a claim, whereas the rest of us dread it! lol!

Well, his insurance would be £40K without the accidents and at least £100K after, if he can find someone to insure him at all. The money isn't the issue, an immature millionaire in a high powered car with a disregard for speed limits, (possibly racing his teammate in his Bentley?), is. The Police hopefully will investigate this with the same gusto that they prosecute you and me for doing 35mph in a 30 zone.

I think these flash footballers in their hugely expensive and impressive machines forget that these machines can kill innocent people. They are lethal status symbols in the football world and more control should be imposed on who has these machines.

I suppose taking (and passing) an advanced driving course before moving up to a more powerful car would be sensible.
And perhaps a few laps at Silverstone just to see how easy it is to lose control at speed would be a salutory lesson.

Perhaps a crash (no one else involved and a minor, but painful injury and not just to the pride or ego), to show they aren't invincible would help too.

I don't know about Impreza, that driving's impressive! lol!
I agree with advanced driving courses for the footballers of flash cars, they should also have to go on a safety course which shows them the risks of speed and bravado!

One lad I knew of was given a stupidly over-powered car, a Mitsubishi Evolution VIII, by his millionaire father. How stupid is that?
He crashed it, killing his friend in the front seat, and seriously injuring five others in an oncoming car.

That's precisely the problem, it's not the fact that they can kill themselves, but wipe out families and other innocent people at the same time, all just to show off in a fancy motor.

all people should do advanced driving when they do their license! They have it in Scandinavia To pass your test you have to be tested on icy and snowy road conditions. sensible considering their climate but it we should all be trained in how to handle a car druing a skid amongst other things. Im doing my advanced driving within the next month! Woo HoO!
