I've deleted unactivated accounts, as recommended by proboards.
Most unactivated accounts failed for some reason or other, either a mistyped email address, or some other glitch. Sometimes it means a member can't use their preferred user-name if their application to join failed to activate.
Anyway, it is easy enough to apply to join again, but remember that you need to give an email addy you can access, and then follow what the email asks of you.
