Thank goodness - I thought it said she'd given birth to an octopus!
Good luck Mum and Dad and family

They'll need a lot of help but I've no doubt they are being hounded for exclusive rights already.
I hope they survive and do well.

The babies weighed in at between 1lb 8 ounces (820g) and 3lb 4oz (1.47kg) and are all said to be doing well.
Amazing! I presume the mother had fertility treatment. It's still incredible though. Remember the octuplets born in the UK some years ago. The mother was advised to reduce the amount of foetuses in her womb as she risked losing them all. She refused and lost them all one by one before birth. So sad. However, this latest octuplet birth seems to be a great success, i wish them all the luck in the World, i think they're gonna need it! All those nappies!
Apparently the mother wants to remain private and anonymous. I don't think that will last long! She will need all the publicity and sponsorship she can get to finance raising all the babies! I have my fingers crossed that all the babies survive and do well! Bless them!
