welcome kitten - i've tried to write a few how to's in the Hints & Tips section To add pictures to your post, you'll need to sign up to a picture hosting site eg ImageShack imageshack.usthen you can use the photo uploader which loads an image from your computer to imageshack and copies the link from there Here's a link to a page which explains most of the buttons pbadvertisement.proboards40.com/index.cgi?board=tutor&action=display&thread=1175it's a bit of a learning curve - but once you get the hang of it, there's a lot more you can do than on msn  |

Kitten is fine, seems to have a new home just now where she can play with toys and things!  I natter at her almost daily and she's happy enough, getting into her usual scrapes etc. I will try to tempt her back into here, but I don't think she has enough hours in the day at the moment. |

Its odd since MSN closed the old groups, so many got fragmented, and now I cant find any that are as much fun as the Chit Chat of old or the Grapevine Groups, typical when I actually have had a bit of time on my hands recently!!

Ah well, the above is what a lot of us are thinking.
Thing is, our old newsboard isn't coming back so we'd best get on and make NewsGeneral as good and as interesting as we can.
Okay, so sometimes it gets a bit samey .. but so was MSN a lot of the time.
It all depends on the contributors ....
Chit Chat needs witty, profound or heart warming topics while General needs huge news stories ... something we're not getting much of just lately.
Still, if we plod on regardless the time will come when this board will come into its own .... could be tomorrow, next week or maybe not until next year .... but one day it will happen if enough of us want it to work.
