This story, on the face of it, doesn't make a lot of sense.
There is rigorous checks made on anyone seeking to own or run a care home. Many of these people, it has to be said, are very business minded, but their overriding concern is to generate income.
They get that from housing paying patients/residents.
Many care homes close simply because they cannot get enough paying residents.
Why would these people kill off their paying residents?
