Couple of relatively new things, of different varieties. This is my normal speed and I think it's bloody brilliant

And, less my normal scene, welsh indie-rap sort of stuff, apparently very popular in Britain but I'd not heard it before

Divorce by Eat My Words isn't bad. A bit moany, maybe. Can't Find My Way Home by Fingerstyle is good but not as good as Steve Winwood doing it solo. Ren by Money Game Part 2 is one of those songs, like those by the Sleaford Mods, that I can't tell if it's some sort of spoof or not.

Ren makes me pleased about the current state of real music in the UK

I’m looking to buy a new pair of headphones. My kids have the Sony MX4s which aren’t bad. I’ve been told to go with Sennheiser HD 650s. Anyone have any experience with them?

Nice version of I Shot The Sherrif, WKC, but I'm never sure about - even in cover versions - people doing accents.

Rasta-ing up. Mind you, many British singers use some sort of American accent.

Sennheiser
The very best on the market
Used in studios throughout the world - you can wear them all day and your ears don't sweat.

Rasta-ing up. Mind you, many British singers use some sort of American accent. Yeah, I'm also not a huge fan of that. I don't mind it in early Stones where nobody knew any better, but once people realised they could sing rock songs in English accents, it felt weird for new bands to adopt Faux-American.

So you have to sound like the Proclaimers, Camel or the Sex Pistols?

The only person I can think of that does this is Adele (which is funny and she chats between a her songs and it’s pure London.) Don’t most Brit artists now just use their own accents?)
