You read a short story in a newspaper and you made a snap judgement, I didn't.
There is always more to these reports, if you've been on newsboards for any amount of time you would, or should know that.

Yeah, maybe there is a good reason for murdering your kids. I suppose I'm too insensitive.

Some of u really need to open yr eyes a little.
PPl often end up in debt because circumstances change in there lives. When ppl buy things say on HP or get loans/credit cards, it doesnt mean they are trying to get in debt, maybe they lose there job? maybe a spuse/partner leaves or dies??? illness in the family, accidents meaning some1 cant work anymore, there are so many reasons debt occurs, yes it is the persons fault in the long run but still most ppl genuinely dont get in2 debt because they want to!
So dont judge everybody!!! life doesnt always go the way ones mapped it out!!

The guy and his wife had good jobs at a hospital but were both fired for forging peoples names and stealing their identities or something like that. He had champagne taste but beer money. Of the 5 kids the oldest was 8 and the 4 younger were 2 sets of twins. He was behind on his expensive SUV payment , his mortgage and his bills. If things get that bad just go hop a freight train and get the hell out. The family will at least survive. Obviously these sort of people are mentally ill.

You two are right, we should know more details about the situation. And it now appears that this man and woman were even worse than thought: The man believed to be responsible for killing his wife, five children and himself in Wilmington had been fired from his hospital job along with his wife for allegedly forging a supervisor's signature on a child care application, according to Kaiser Permanente officials.
Diana Bonta, vice president for public affairs at Kaiser Permanente, said the couple falsified income records so they could qualify for a child care program run by Crystal Stairs, a nonprofit child development agency located near the West Los Angeles medical center where they worked. The couple's financial situation, though pressing in recent months, did not appear to be especially dire. The Lupoes were behind one month in their mortgage, investigators said. They found notices of two bounced checks -- one for about $15,000, the other for almost $2,000 -- to pay for property taxes and penalties, according to the police sources. Investigators said it did not appear they were behind on their credit card payments.
In the last two years, the couple had finished a home remodel that included the master bedroom and bathroom, and purchased new kitchen appliances including an industrial-grade refrigerator, the sources said.www.latimes.com/news/printedition/california/la-me-children-killed29-2009jan29,0,379445.story

Yep, over $150,000 a year. Poor kids were fated to be born to a couple of irresponsible morons. Those poor kid's "parents" were moronic lunatics! Who massacres their family over a job!!!? So you got laid off, so what!? Maybe you move out of the house and into an apartment for a while, maybe you move to another state and find a job there, you don't massacre your family!!!? Okay, if you're that upset about it, and your mind is set to end it all, take a rowboat out to the middle of the ocean that way, no one, especially the kids, will have to be bothered with your worthless corpse, stand up in the rowboat so you'll go overboard, and do yourself there. What a f**ktard!

People say that suicide is 'The Easy way Out', or that 'The Balance of His Mind was Disturbed - believe me it isn't that way !
Several years ago I was contemplating such a step. My business had failed, I was facing bankruptcy, my wife had left me, my bank account was frozen, I was penniless and destitute. Suicide seemed the logical way out. I even took several weeks planning it to look like an accident so my family could benefit from my life insurance. My mind was completely logical. I'd weighed up the pro's and con's and decided that the LOGICAL step was for me to step aside and give my family a fighting chance.
What stopped me ? ........ the fact that my life insurance had run out !
I realised it would be a pointless gesture and knuckled down and re-built my life. My wife and I got back together ( we realised it was monetary problems drove us apart - not a lack of love) and I've never mentioned this to either my wife or kids (who were grown up and married at the time).
I would NEVER condone taking someone elses life - but to take your own ? From my experience while contemplating your future, suicide can be a logical choice IF it leaves your loved ones better off (either financialy - or, just with you out of the frame).
Believe me, to a potential suicide there are no grey areas. Everything is black or white, Pro's and Con's, The balance of my mind was christal clear - polarised !

Totally agree with u beachcomber, its a bloddy horrible situation to be in. The trouble with suicide its the ones left behind that suffer.
Im not condoning one iota what that man did, his act was dispicable!! vile, and totally uncalled for, there are many many ppl in this world that wud gladly had them children and brought them up with a great life! my thoughts are with the family & friends left behind and moreso the poor person that found the bodies and had to deal with this atrocity!
My point was just to say the amount of ppl now losing homes, with debts ++++ didnt necessarily mean they deserved it as they spent too much etc etc, changes of circumstances can cripple and change ones outlook/stance in life very quickly. BUT there always is a way around it, IF u look and try!
