Presumably he has some long term plan to screw the UK economy and is seeking some bravado over it.
Better be careful though. He can be charged uder the terrorism act for what is called economic terrorism.

Soros should be toast. I mean it, construct a 12 foot high toaster, set it to dark, pop him in a slot, then crank the handle down. When it dings, there's one less despicible bastard in the world.

Britain and British people always over come.
No need for songs. We over come all obstacles simply because we're British and that is the way things are.

No need for a bucket, the British are a tough race, they have survived against the odds before and will again. We call it the Dunkirk spirit. British people are extraordinarily resourceful and will find a way to cope.

The British were a tough race. That was before lefty libs encouraged everyone to whine about their rights at the slightest hint of adveristy. Must be some sort of accelerated evolution. Conditions used to favour tough-minded survivor types but now it's the scum that can complain the loudest that is successful. If Darwin was alive today he wouldn't even have bothered. He'd have just assumed that God created chavs in a mysterious way and left it at that.

After watching sky news this morning, all about the irish, I think we are doing quite well by comparison. They are even thinking of coming out of the Euro as they have no control over interest rates etc. It looks really grim for the previously cozy euro EU pet accross the irish pond.

Soros has a bloody cheek. It was him who forced Britain out of the ERM in 1992, making billions in the process.
Exploitative, shameful, manipulative....but very rich.
He was also able to reassure the listening world that "he had managed to protect his capital and get a rate of return satisfactory in normal times" - I'm so glad.

Have to admit, part of me is starting to think that Yord's enigmatic prohpesies about the coming apocalypse might be closer to the mark than we think.
What if the global crisis is barely just beginning?

Not twitchy so much. Pretty exciting though. The likelihood is that it's just going to be a recession. There is still a small possibiliy, though, that it might be the start of armageddon.
