What the hell is this PC crap coming to?
Is it more "Polite" to refer to Boars as "Boys" as the useless Jamie Oliver calls them?
Are Sows to be caklled "Girls"

Was it a one off or does he say it regularly?
If it was a one off he probably just forgot what male pigs were called. if it's a regular thing then he's a bit of a pillock.

Political correctness is making a mockery of everything Scooby! I read in the paper the other day that a headteacher (not allowed to say headmaster or headmistress any more!) objected to the word "school" - i think it's time to stop this nonsense! No wonder children get confused!  |

Good grief .Anyone who is offended by something that someone else calls them deserves to be offended

Erm, what on earth does this have to do with being 'PC', labeling something stupid that anoys you 'PC' doesn't actually make it PC. It is only PC when some government/local council idiots trys to make it as such.

In days gone by Norfolk people used the term Bor for males and Mor for females. A common expression would be "blast Bor" when telling a companion about something interesting. Or shall we goo doon City today Mor"
Jamie Oliver is attempting to anthromorphise the pigs by calling them boys and girls. As they are going to be killed he should refer them as boars and sows, though I think castrated boars have a different name.
