Idiotic censoring. I did not say pregnant dog but used the proper word for a female dog, in a derrogatory fashion. B****

This mother, at best, a silly woman, at worst, a selfish iresponsible pregnant dog. She is in no position to care for such a family but will no doubt cash in with the publicity.l If she is suffering some form of mental illness, that seems incredibly harsh.

Surely the IVF clinic looked into her medical background before the first IVF attempt?! Any recorded mental illness would have shown up on her personal medical details. She should never have been granted the first attempt let alone a further attempt. It is turning into a shocking state of affairs to say the least. If she is mentally ill, i hope the octuplets are placed in care immediately and subsequently adopted by genuinely needy couples who have no children. This makes a mockery of IVF and everything it stands for. A horrendous waste of resources as well. Someone should be held accountable at the IVF clinic.

Seems a bit harsh on the kids - to be split up from their siblings through no fault of their own. Although I agree that the 'Natural' mother seems imbalanced......... 14 kids ? ......... FFS !

Yes it is hard on the kids Beachy, but can you imagine how it will be for them?! No money, not enough space, 13 siblings etc. Their mum lives with her parents in a cramped bungalow with not enough room to swing a cat in. I just feel very sorry for the babies/children. They deserve a stable environment, they didn't ask to be born after all. It sounds like once the media frenzy dies down, which it is starting to already in the light of the mother's circumstances, life will be very hard for them all. It is expected that the offers of help and supplies will continue to "dry up" as the truth is revealed. Can you imagine the effect on the children. If it is true that the mother has a mental illness, that again is another hardship for the children. They don't deserve it all.
