I seem to be having a few problems when I come into this forum, I have the url for the main page saved, then once there i click onto the 'news' bit, but it keeps sending me back to the main page, sometimes 4 or five times before i eventually get into news, any ideas why this is happening?
I also get an '! error' at the bottom left of the page ??

Don't click on the heading 'News' on it's own, it does just send you back here. Go to the first link News General, and then choose your board from that and you'll be fine.
The board was hurridly pulled together and there are a few glitches that will be ironed out sometime in the future. I only use the Home page, and then go to differing boards off that.

I do that Sushi - but even clicking on the thread header on a sub-board can send me back to the Home page.
(This only happens when I first visit the board - after the first few attempts it settles down and behaves itself)

I'll see if I can find out why it does that then, not happened to me yet, but I wish it would than maybe I could fathom it out!

Any solution yet? The only way I have found to ensure that I dont get reverted to the previous page, is to open it in a new tab or page. [When I remember to bloody well do it, that is!  ] |

OK, can I be a bit more specific about what is actually happening here please? You get to the home page OK, and this > newsgeneral.proboards.com/index.cgi < shows as your address? Now what exactly, where, are you clicking that is giving you grief? You are saying 'News', but there is no link that I can see that takes tyou into news, as such. News General, yes, is it that that's giving you the problem? Do you have the same problem in any of the other pages - Politics, Chit Chat etc? Let me know, I need to be specific on asking for help on this for you, but I will get it sorted! |

I have news saved as newsgeneral.proboards.com/index.cgi then once i am there i choose which sub-section to go to, but it keeps kicking me out and i have to keep clicking up to six times to get in, it is a total pain in the arse and sometimes i don';t bother and just go. |
