Why not?
Well 'the gays' never elected this flag. it was a commercial enterprise from the US that took off. When i personally see the flag i cringe, it means nothing to me, it represents nothing other than tacky commercialism. (for those who don't know me, i am a 'gay' woman) Council/government buildings stick to the Union flag, or perhaps country flags if they want.
A feking flag will not make anyone think about gays or gay equality, all it says is 'hey we are so different we even have our own flag', bullpoo, flags are for countries and football. leave it at that.

I think that it may make people think more about gay attitudes, possibly "who do they think they are?" and resultin a modest backlash. It should certainly NOT be flown from public buildings, least of all a police station.
"Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual History Month" by the way? Perhaps I'm out of touch but WTF is that and is there enough history to be worth celebrating and why would we want to?

Another triumph for the pushy gay groups.
We get the message. Gay groups don't want equality and they don't want gays to be accepted. Hanging a gay rag outside a police station is to warn all the straights that the law is on the side of gays.
The laws enforce a respect for diversity. Gay pride marches celebrate decades of "fighting" for rights. But they do sod all to encourage gays to be accepted. Quite the opposite, Tinkerbell.

Dear Deardrie,
My wife plays rounders and her team wear socks with this flag on. Should I be worried that she wants to dine at the furry V?
Do you think she would mind if I asked if I could watch?
Yours
Concerned of Calabar

Certainly more history than I want to hear about.
It's just a flag, right? Nothing militant? Gays aren't going to form some sort of butt battalion and storm a working men's club?
