Where are they kept. Pre XL I could find them by going to START, PROGRAMS, EXPLORER and deleting them one by one. Using XL I can still get to EXPLORER but cant find the cookies anywhere. I need to delete certain cookies but keep others.
Naturaly explicit instructions are required on how to do this please

Tough to get rid of some and keep others Yord, I just delete the lot once in a blue moon, and then spend weeks swearing because I've lost all my passwords!
I wouldn't know one cookie from another tbh, be interested if anyone can give a sensible answer to this.

Mine are in C:\Documents and settings\User1 or \Guest.
Couldn't define them though.

For anyone else looking:Tools / internet options - or look in temp internet files .Or use your browser to delete .Extras / tools / accept cookies or not / show cookies .its a painstaking job deleteing em one by one though -probably better just to set your browser so it doesnt accept third party cookies

Yord, go to Grisoft.com and download Ad-aware Personal. Run the .exe file and then when its installed, check for updates. Once these are done, run a smart system scan. This finds malware on your computer. It also list cookies as "Tracking cookies". These will be listed, by name. Cherry pick which ones you want to delete and send them to quaratine. This is the easiest way. ~Unless you're doing it every day. Then it becomes a pain in the arse.
