No doubt we'd be shagged without Arteta (or Cahill). But then again, our entire squad cost less than Fernando Torres so, you know, given the amount of cash "Rafa" has spunked they shouldn't be so reliant on Mr 30-yard-oops-sorry-chap-in-row-z.

Oh and - it was admittedly a crap match for a neutral. But I've seen some absolute crackers this season.
Oh and - Phil Jagielka is the best centre half in the country by a mile.

Did I hear the name 'Andy van der Meyde' in that clip? Is he off the booze?

Yes...here Omni... you must be a happy man... can't take it away from you boy... it's a great feeling. One you have not had for a while now I must say, and one I have enjoyed for the last few Derby games, so I dont begrudge it.
I seriously and genuinely hope you go on and win it now.... I mean it would be such a let down now if you didn't...surely?

Mars - AvDM supplied the beauty of a cross to set up the winning goal. He actually played 15 minutes last night - which is pretty much his biggest appearance for us in the 3 years he's been with us. No, I don't think he is off the booze by all accounts. Shame, because he's obviously got talent.
Fair dos Luckysprite - you have more grace than your Gaffer!

Christ on a bike... and I thought MSN was shite... wtfd happened there.....
Anyway.. Rafa is a madman Omni - you know yourself what opinion of him is now with a growing number of Liverpool fans... The Keane fiasco put the top hat on it for me..

lots of us could see years ago that Rafa wasn't up to it.
I was talking about it with Blue mates last night - I remember grudgingly respecting the RedSh!te in times gone by. Dalglish era, even the Spice Boys - at least you played some decent footy, and usually had a bit of dignity and grace.
Benitez is just completely classless though, and has really dragged LFC down if you ask me. I'd be proper ashamed by some of his comments if I was a Liverpool fan, particularly about Everton.

I wonder who he could POSSIBLY be referring to....
"Moyes said: "It was a deserved win. It is Everton's night tonight and we will do it with a lot of class and dignity."

Can't argue with that about Rafa Omni - I could have eaten my own face when all of that stuff about Fergie was being played over and over... But the team have proven that despite their completely crackpot Manager, that there are the sparks of a decent team there...
I thought when Reiera (sp) came at the start of the season that for about 10 or so games after that we played really well, and there have been some bright spots since...
But that shite with Parry and the contract stuff... f**k that...let him go to Real Madrid at the end of the season and lets get a Manager who will want to eat the bollocks of their opponents with salt, but will at least have the good grace to wish them well when they have played well and beaten them.

i like the look of that kid that scored the goal though... very busy around the pitch... I like that. Pity really that he chose the dark side...

Yeah he's looked really tidy in the games he's played so far. Started off as a full back by all accounts, but looks like a good creative midfielder to me. Our squad is miniscule and we got a few more knocks last night, so I reckon we could see more of him.
Ah maaan. I really need to stop grinning - it's starting to ache.

Ahahahaha ITV do suck. How many times can they cock up coverage of sports because of adverts!? I used to watch alot of F1 and ITV cocked that up more times than you can imagine. Theyre light weights when it comes to sport coverage.
